Typical Day in the Life:

• Nursing inpatients
• Consultations
• Monitor anaesthesia
• Stitch up wounds
• Bandaging
• Dental descale and polish
• Discharge pets back to their owners after an operation
• Pre-op checks
• IV Catheters
• Radiography
• Lab-work
• Blood samples
• Monitor animals and aid with recovery

The best part of being a Veterinary Nurse

• Following and assisting in the journey of the pet patient, from the first visit to treatment, recovery, and seeing them walk out again.
• Educating owners to help their pet problems
• Working as part of a team

The worse part of being a Veterinary Nurse

• Seeing pets with preventable problems, such as
  • Dog Safety
  • Cat Feeding
