Zoe Blake is The Friendly Pet Nurse and is a qualified and registered Veterinary Nurse of over thirty years. Working as a Veterinary Nurse at local Sussex Veterinary practices and Specialist Referral centres, in addition to working with Cats Protection.
Also registered with the British Veterinary Nursing Association with an Advanced Certificate in Feline Behaviour (with distinction) from the International Society of Feline Medicine. Zoe is also insured with Petplan Sanctuary, dedicated insurance for professional pet sitters.

Cat Sitting (within map area)
- We currently offer cat sitting in Horsham and all surrounding villages. If the address is over a 5 mile radius (from RH12 5) mileage will be charged at 90p per mile (45p each way).
- Cat sitting is charged per cat; For 1-2 cats the charges are £12 for one visit or £18 for two visits per day. 3-4 cats the charges are £15 for one visit or £22 for two visits per day. For 5+ cats please request a quotation.
- Small animals, such as rabbits and guinea pigs, can be cared for in addition to a cat feeding visit and will be charged at £3 per day, per hutch.
- Christmas Day & Boxing Day are charged at £22 a visit, and limited to only one visit on these days. All other bank holidays including New Years Day will be charged at 1.5 x rates above.
- Please note, there may also be additional charges depending on your specific needs, such as medication and other pets. Please contact me for a bespoke quote.
Small Furry Sitting, at owners home (within cat sitting service area, see map)
- Over a 5 mile radius mileage will be charged at 90p per mile (45p each way).
- Christmas Day & Boxing Day are charged at £22 per visit and and limited to only one visit on these days. All other bank holidays including New Years day will be charged at 1.5 x normal rate.
- Please note, there may also be additional charges depending on your specific needs, please contact me for a bespoke quote.
Cat Behaviour
- Cat behaviour consultations can be anywhere in the UK or abroad and conducted online. If you would like a home visit, please see the service area map above.
- £40 for a telephone consultation . please allow 1.5hrs, pre-booked at a convenient time, with an action plan report provided.
- £150 for a home visit, which includes a consultation of approx. 2-3 hrs and a comprehensive report. Mileage may be added depending on location.

- Before any consultation work takes places, The Friendly Pet Nurse will require your pet’s clinical vet records. These must be obtained by yourself via your registered veterinary clinic and sent to: zoe@thefriendlypetnurse.co.uk
Feline Environment Optimization
- Feline Environment Optimization can be anywhere in the UK or abroad and conducted online. If you would like a home visit, please see the service area map above.
- £10 per 30 mins - Telephone consultation, pre-booked at a convenient time.
- £30 for a home visit, which includes a consultation to discuss how to improve your cats environment. Mileage may be added depending on location.

Preventative Healthcare
- Cat Claw Clip - £15 multi-cats will receive a discount
- Dog Nail Clip - £20 multi-dogs will receive a discount
- Assisting with medication i.e. Solensia - £10
