Do you remember Rosy the Bengal cat that I gave some behavioural advice for a ‘big’ house move?

Well, I am pleased to say that Rosy undertook her 1,000-mile journey from Ontario to Nova Scotia which spanned 18hrs of travel with an overnight motel stay. Her owner, Lisa, was really concerned for her welfare and wellbeing for this journey and reached out to me to see if I could offer any advice. An action plan was put in place before the journey and some suggestions were made that would hopefully smooth out the whole process. As with many cats, Rosy wasn’t a fan of car travel and so her owner was conscious of this fact.

After settling into her new surroundings Lisa got in touch to update me that the move had taken place and stated “I think she was better than she would have been if she hadn’t had some training beforehand.”

I am so glad that Rosy’s owner reached out and got help for this rather epic journey.

As you can see from the photos she certainly looks like she has settled in nicely.
