Feline Behaviour – Some kind words from one of my clients

Recently I had the Mango Tikka & Merlot - Cat Behaviour Services in Horshampleasure of working with Georgina and her lovely trio of cats, Tikka, Merlot & Mango. Thank you so much to Georgina for sharing some kind words about her experience when using my services, which you can read below.

“Well what can I say, Zoe is amazing, really knows what she is talking about and her guidance is all backed up by evidence-based research.  Cats clearly love her and she them.

I have a mummy’s boy, a gorgeous boy and an old boy and on some occasions life in our household of three male tabbies is not as calm as one would like. Zoe has looked after the boys for many years when we go away so it was only natural to ask her to help us integrate the two kittens with our older cat.  This worked really well and using her strategies helped enormously although whilst the old guy gets on with the ginger tabby, he’s not so fond of the other tabby.

It is fair to say there has been quite a bit of stress in house, theirs and ours, and the vets bills have been high so when Tikka, the young tabby, developed a urinary problem, was diagnosed with stress and was put on a diet it was Zoe I turned to help restore some order to the house – and she did.

Zoe came to the house, at a time convenient to us both, has her own weighing scales, which saves more stress than having to take the cat to the vet to be weighed and we talked through the various issues we are experiencing.  Excessive eating, clawing of carpets and furniture being the worse.

Zoe gave us clear guidance regarding feeding the cats as all are on different diets and advised what their  daily intake should be – thank goodness for microchipped cat feeders.  She also talked through the benefit of separate feeding stations so they don’t feel threatened that their food might be taken, playing a puzzle game with the food and how to alleviate boredom, theirs not mine.

Tikka Pet Services - Help with cat behaviour in Horsham Sussexis a real mummies boy and hates it when someone or something else gets my attention so again Zoe helped with strategies to help alleviate him being dominant and not getting attention when it was difficult to give.

Things are slowly getting better, although we have a way to go with the scratching, I recognise that change won’t happen overnight but I know Zoe will always be there to give advice along the way if needed.  She is looking after the boys again shortly when we go away and it is great to be able to relax knowing they are being well looked after.

So if you are thinking of getting a cat, need tips on cat behaviour, dietary advice or simply want someone to look after your cats then get in touch with Zoe and have a chat, I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed.  Thanks Zoe, where would we all be without you!”

Thank you again to Georgina, and if you have any concerns about the health or behaviour of your cat, then get in touch today to see what I can do to help!
