Celebrate International Cat Day with an ice lolly cat treat
Cat Ice Lolly Treat
Celebrate International Cat Day
We want to help our feline friends enjoy their special day, and what better way than a Summer cat ice lolly treat you can make at home!
What you will need
- 400ml Water
- The liquid from a can of Spring Water Tuna
- A small mould, lollipop mould, or small paper cup
- Cat treat stick
How to make them
- Measure your water into a jug and drain the liquid from a tin of spring water tuna into the water. Mix it well. This mixture should be enough for around five cat-sized treat lollies.
- Pour the mixture into your moulds (leaving room for it to expand a little) and place into the freezer until they are partially set. Check on the lollies in around an hour.
- Once the lollies have started to freeze and are a bit slushy, take them out and add a stick-shaped cat treat into the middle. Put back into the freezer.
- Once frozen, remove from the mould. If you are using paper cups, unwrap.
Treat your cat to these outdoor in the shade or in a bowl so they don’t go all over your floor!
Cat Advice
Please don’t give these to your cat if it has dietary issues. Give these lollies only as a treat and as part of a healthy cat diet.
