As a proud member of the Canine & Feline Behaviour Association (CFBA), I am deeply committed to understanding and improving the lives of our pet cats. Dedicated to promoting positive behaviour and fostering harmonious relationships between humans and their feline companions, the CFBA serves as a beacon of knowledge and expertise in the field of animal behaviour. Through ongoing education, collaboration, and advocacy, members like myself strive to uphold the highest standards of care and professionalism.

Why join?

Feline behaviour consultations operate in a largely unregulated space, allowing almost anyone to claim the title of a pet behaviourist. However, by becoming a member of the CFBA, I demonstrate my dedication to attaining a deep understanding of feline behaviour, distinguishing myself through my hard work and commitment.  As behaviourists, we undergo rigorous evaluation by a panel of experts to validate our knowledge and expertise. This ensures that pet owners can confidently seek out reputable behaviourists like myself to address any feline-related concerns they may have.

Always studying and learning more

Veterinary Nurses must stay current with clinical standards through Continuing Professional Development (CPD), requiring approximately 15 hours annually. For those familiar with me, this signifies a perpetual journey of learning, where the pursuit of knowledge is a constant companion. I have also achieved:

• Achieved, Distinction in Advanced Diploma in Applied Animal Behaviour (Feline) Level 5
• International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM) certified feline-friendly nurse
• ISFM Advanced Certificate in Feline Behaviour (AdvCertFB) with distinction
• Qualified Veterinary Nurse with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
• A Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
• Working: In an Orthopaedic and Referral Centre

Before any consultation work takes place, The Friendly Pet Nurse will require your pet’s clinical vet records. These must be obtained by yourself via your registered veterinary clinic and sent to: zoe@thefriendlypetnurse.co.uk
