It’s always hard to know just how stressed your cat might be. 
Whilst there are often physical signs of stress, such as urinating outside of their litter box, over-grooming, or a decline in appetite, some times stress can go unnoticed and untreated for far longer than it should be.
To help you find out how stressed your cat maybe I have put together a Stressor Audit. This quiz asks a series of questions about your cat’s living environment and produces a score based on your answers. This score can be used to help determine how much stress your cat could be dealing with on a daily basis and what are the best steps to helping overcome this.
Why is my cat stressed?
There are many areas coved in the quiz which may be causing your cat stress. This includes access to scratching posts and toys, other pets you may have, or whether there have been key routine changes which could distress your cat.
One of the key factors in helping your cat feel less stressed is their home environment. Many cats may share similar needs; a space to call their own, a high spot to survey their territory, somewhere they feel safe eating and drinking. But getting things just right can be a tricky business.
